notetaking

I've never really been into taking notes, instead I try and keep everything inside my head which is a real shame because it's probably the worst option. It isn't that I don't want to take notes, it's just that I never found a good medium of storing them. Notebooks get more worthless the more you write, and it all gets lost when they're put in shelves to collect dust.

Well that was the case until I went down the rabbit hole of Obsidian and Zettelkasten.

Obsidian is a note taking program that works with plain markdown files. It's a future-proof design that gives you all the control.

Zettelkasten is a method of storing notes. Each note is an atomic idea that gets linked to other similar ideas, thus creating an organic structure.

If you don't take notes, or struggle with note taking, I highly recommend you look into this.
